Happy 2008

I hope y'all had a dope new year. If not, well then make sure this one goes well.

2008 will be a great year - plenty of new music, new movies, the election (peace George W.!), etcetera! Looking forward to The Dark Knight, Dr. Dre's Detox, Dwele's new album in March, QN5 releases, OutKast's solo albums, the next Bond film. Too much good shit. I also hope that the WGA Strike is handled properly and ended asap because LOST and HEROES need to get back. Now.

When I had first heard about Semi-Pro, I thought it was a new film from the Apatow camp, but alas, I see that it is not. A new RED BAND trailer is out. Click the link below!

West Coast-based hip hop group Inverse just came out with "So Far", a collection/mixtape to showcase their music.

Get it here.

They've been around for a while too- I first heard them when they collaborated with QN5, specifically the CunninLynguists on a track called "Till the End". Dope, free music.

Keeping on the free mixtape tip, Chi-Town MC Rhymefest and producer Mark Ronson just released a mixtape "Man in the Mirror". Yes, using vocals and samples from the one and only Michael Jackson

(click the picture for a link to download the mixtape)

Church-going Ruff Ryder fans will appreciate this: DMX is coming out with a gospel album later this year. That's all I'm going to post. Click here for more.
